In addition, hemp seeds are a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a polyunsaturated fatty acid that also has anti-inflammatory effects.
Hemp seed contains a considerable number of dietary fibres, vitamins, and minerals that may help to maintain digestive health. It is believed that Soluble fibre forms a gel-like substance in your gut and acts as an important source of nutrients for beneficial digestive bacteria.
The oil from the hemp seed is highly nutritious and may be especially helpful for the hair and skin. The vitamins and fatty acids in this oil may help keep the skin healthy and prevent breakouts. The abundance of fatty acids may make the oil an excellent choice for nourishing the skin and protecting it from inflammation, oxidation, and other causes of ageing. It is believed that hemp seed oil may be a helpful treatment for a range of skin issues, including - eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, varicose eczema, etc.
